I liked the glass of red wine and chardonnay from Napa.By Hyun Han (a month ago)It is a family place for dinner, but actually the food is really good, rib-eye steak cooked right to the medium tenderness; hot cooking plate is better than BBQ (no burning); lobster is a hot dry; when asked about how you want the rice; try fried rice; it is really taste. We ordered two sets of dinners and a California roll for 2 adults and a kid. That’s enough food. Chef shows great skills and entertainment right in front of you. If you are running out of dinner places for your family, and hard to decide whether a steak house or Japanese restaurant, come to teppanyaki, it will serve everyone’s taste.By tony (a month ago)Been here a few times for great sushi at good price. Service can be hit or miss depending on the time of day. Haven’t tried Tepanyaki but seems underwhelming compared to other well known places. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, if you are not a sushi lover, you will find other great dishes, from steak to fish to seafood, you have a wide choice in hand! - Reviews:The food is good. Portions are on the small size. Compared to other Japanese restaurants around here they give very little ingredients in dishes. The seafood udon had one clam and I’m used to getting 3 or 4. It had one shrimp mostly broth and noodles. It’s kind of overpriced for what they give you. I also had the bento box with salmon but the salmon was tiny like two fingers worth. It’s ok but it’s small portions and premium price. Oh I almost forgot the waitress was bad. Not only did they let us bring our own cake, they even prepared a funky birthday hat for my friend. Food was excellent, had the dinner combo and it filled me up! Good flavor and good temperature. They had a sizeable selection of rolls and offered noodles (Udon & -sobas). Best Dan Dan noodle I’ve ever had. Good kick and flavor. Sweet and sour pork was good too. Good portions. They forgot the green bean order, but I’m glad they did since it was enough food for 2.
The servers are very kind too. Will be back when in town!
Traditional Sichuan/ human style food, restaurant is well decorated, and much more spacious inside than its front suggested. Dishes are good portion, hearty spicy; Human Beef is tender and flavorful; boiling spicy fish filets comes in a wooden bucket, cute and tasty. Ma Po tofu uses the traditional Sichuan pepper; a bit noisy, like most Chinese restaurants anyway. Definitely a good place for a family dinner.
The food is amazing!
I have eaten here three time, this is my favorite Chinese restaurant in RWC. Nothing can beat the great flavor and good price. I have tried Xin Jiang lamb, Satay beef, Mapo tofu, tofu beef from the lunch special menu. Mapo tofu has authentic Sichuan flavor, with the right amount of Sichuan pepper.

What a treat! The food is phenomenal and at the right price. Authentic Chinese cuisine right at the heart of the Peninsula. This restaurant is definitely not your Americanized Chinese food. We’re talking about a proper authentic meal at a somewhat rundown place which just adds to the experience.
Absolutely will return.
The food was beyond excellent. I tried many dishes, and every single one was made with incredible quality. The dishes were not greasy, and yet they were packed with intense, wonderful flavors. The fried rice was fresh and lightly cooked with soy sauce and oil. It wasn’t slick or too greasy. This is not your typical americanized chinese food restaurant–the chefs here know how each dish should be crafted.
I have to recommend ordering the magic chili prawns. They are peeled, lightly battered shrimps in a medly of chilis that you can’t find elsewhere. It was lemony, but not sour, and very balanced. The orange chicken, spicy eggplant, and szechaun lamb are honorable mentions.
