The service was good and so was the dumpling sauce…and that was it. The lo mein had no flavor, the Kung pao chicken was not spicy and kind of salty and had too much sauce. The glass iced water tasted pretty bad too; seems like it came out of a faucet in the wash room. Some pieces in my wife’s Mongolian beef were cooked medium rare. Panda’s Chinese is way much better and less than half the price. I had the best strawberry lemonade I’ve ever tried. The sweet and sour chicken was ok, the shrimp dumplings were unbelievably salty, tuna sushi was kinda mediocre but I liked the sauce it came with, the white rice was very delicious though. solid coconut ice cream though!!Maybe it just isn’t my type of food, would have to give them another chance..By Alex De La Cruz (5 months ago)I am a bit disappointed. I have had the opportunity to dine in a different P.F CHangs and I had some expectations, that weren’t accomplished. Maybe it was perception but all tables look close and may cause a discomfort and narrow hallways. Additionally it was a bit noisy. Food taste was OK, but again, I felt disappointed, I ordered a Kung Pao Chicken and meat,vegetables was like 1/4 of the dish and the rest was Rice (It is not visible at first sight, I must admit that it was served so not to show) Staff and waiters were kind at all time. For the noodles and chicken there wasn’t much options but they specialize in sushi I’m guessing. The service wasn’t bad but lots of tables for just 1 waiter. To take a drink, we did not drink. They also charge you for using CC. These are restaurant expenses passed down to the customer. The customers should not pay CC fees. All-around great food, their 🍣 sushi selection is great, many rolls to choose from, and all their Chinese plates have their distinct recipes but great flavors. Also included tempura vegetables and all the traditional sauces. The only thing missing is deserts to seal the deal. The place was very clean, probably the cleanest Chinese buffet I have ever eaten at.
They had a wide variety of options, most of which were hot and fresh.
The chicken and beef with the broccoli were my favorites, and the sweet and sour chicken was perfect. The sweet and sour sauce was maybe more sweet than sour, but it was still fine.
The house fried rice was the only lackluster thing I tried. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t particularly flavorful.
They had sushi and Mongolian also, but I did not partake.
I would definitely go again.
We like to visit this buffet on the weekends and special occasions, the food is alright. Most of the staff members are really nice. I have to say, it’s not the most hygienic place. Sometimes you’re waiting in line to get ice cream, and you find out it’s a mess. (Most likely kids fault) I’ve also seen flies flying over the sushi. And the restrooms are always full. The lighting inside is super low, that if you look up to the ceiling you’ll see it’s really dusty. But i mean, overall it’s alright, most people know that stuff and keep on going (my family included) It’s a good buffet compared to others in the valley.
I was almost done with my salad when all of a sudden I see a FLY on one of the lettuce absolutely disgusting I had asked one of the waiters if the lettuce was fresh or if it was old and she said she doesn’t eat salad with an attitude then I proceeded on telling her there was a fly on the salad she took the plate from me with an attitude once again and went to one of the ladies in the front she came back with 8 dollars and says we can’t refund you all the money back , which I honestly didn’t care if I get the refund or not but what I care was that they should throw away the salad that was on the trays and put fresh lettuce on the trays I honestly didn’t see if they did or didn’t but overall If I could rate it a 0 I would . Would never go eat at great chinas buffet ever again .
We attended the restaurant to celebrate my mother’s birthday. Chayo the host embarrassed me by yelling and making everyone turn to stare at my family and I. Instead of greeting us to sit us she was ignoring us in her cell phone then she approched us in an unprofessional manner to yell that we couldnt sit at the table we were already sitting at. Then proceeded to mock me and continue yelling at us. She later yelled at the supervisor asking why she didn’t inform us to see her yet as a hostess that is your primary job. After that an incident report was made against her unprofessional, unethical, ridiculous attitude; childish as well mocking us. You can ask for Kevin the owner, he is not in NY nor New Jersey. He is found all the time opening through 5 pm moreless. Usually with back chef area. If you do not find Kevin ask for an incident report and take pictures before submitting it to the supervisor.
Prices were raised from 11$ per adult to 16$ sushi and the hot and spicy soup was surprisingly gross. The rest of the food was good. Lady at the front desk was rude and was playing on her phone while we were paying but eh.
