  1. Nice staff. Good selection of items. Pretty much find whatever you need for your pets there. I was able to try several collars on Napoleon before we decided on the Kong collar which gave him the best fit. Very helpful…give them a try.

  3. My first horrible experience in any petsmart in my entire life! “Acting manager in charge” Julie did not want to help in any way shape or form. She had an attitude from the beginning. Never had an issue price matching! Showed her the price on my phone on the website “Chewy” she thought it was too low. So she double checked the website when I had told her I took The picture of it the night before. Then was told when I came back it had to be a “stand alone store” website not online. When I found A price match I was Told because she didn’t know what store that was she wasn’t going to help me and walked away from the conversation and closed the office door. Left me outside with no help.

    My sister and I visited the shelter this past week. Nice and clean with friendly staff. We were there to check out the cats that all seemed very well cared for we even picked out forever kitty who after 1 day, you would never know wasn’t ours since birth. He even fit right in with my 16yr old cat perfectly.

    I adopted a puppy from this animal shelter. I visited 2-3 times to look at animals so that I could find the right one for my family. The facility is organized, and they are very open about people seeing the available animals. I noticed that animals are brought in, and adopted out frequently–it is not stagnant. I happened to be there at the right time with my daughter, and we picked out a puppy that had not been there long. He is neutered, and he does not have fleas or worms. I am bringing him back for an additional vaccine when he is old enough, and it will be covered. This was a really great experience for us. We named the puppy “Everest”. He looks somewhat like a Great Pyrenees, but definitely a mixed breed dog. I don’t plan to return the animal, but if I needed to, I could bring him back to the shelter within 30 days no problem. I thought this information was useful. It can’t be easy to successfully run a shelter for so many homeless animals, and these people are genuinely doing a nice job.

    Loved the experience and the help. We found our 4 legged son, and Sampson is loving farm life with horses and helping his dad out. He runs around so much during the day that he is worn out come evening. We love our Sampson boy! I suggest the motto: Don’t shop….adopt!

    I love fay she’s the best dog now I can get my other dog from steadily getting into her face it’s driving me crazy and fay is so patient with him I would of done snapped at him and let him know his limit!! But they just started playing together thank y’all for bringing her into our life

    The facilities for the animals is amazing. The staff are super friendly and care so much about the animals. A few of the animals are rough around the edges, but once you give them a test and some love;. They cover around quick. We didn’t come home with one this time but it’s only a matter of time. This location offers all of the shots, spay/neuter, micro chip, and even obedience training. Highly recommend lake county animal shelter.

    So many different types of animals and amazing staff who cares about the animals and their customers . Even though I didn’t buy my birds from them, they still took the time to teach me how to hand feed the bird and to love on them. They have a huge variety of birds who are in a clean environment. If I decide to add another bird to the flock I will definitely be going here.

    Had the very best experience here yesterday! First time bird owner. This little cockatiel was super healthy, VERY hand tamed, curious and I took him home. 💕 I’d like to thank Ms. Jean (a national treasure in the city of leesburg) and the young lady who helped me find my feathered family member. (Long brown hair and beautiful tattoos) She could tell I was overwhelmed and spent personal time with me and walked me through the birdies and their needs. I was too excited when I left and forgot to thank her so I hope she sees this! The Leesburg Pet Center is definitely a one stop shop for all your birdie needs coupled with customer service excellence. Thank you so much!

    This pet center has a lot of hard to find birds and reptiles. Not much with cats and dogs. Some of the tropical birds were so loud, I was thinking about trading in my leash and buying a shotgun. LoL Had some beautiful Finches.
