  2. Not a fan of Petco overall, but the management and staff at this branch are top notch. It is nice to see a team with such a customer-centric approach as part of a chain that is usually a lot less so. This branch has earned me as a loyal customer.

  3. What a lovely store. I know it’s a chain but this store had such helpful staff that it felt like an independent operation. The gentleman who worked with me was knowledgeable and creative in his assessment of my needs. Bravo!

  4. My dogs can be very difficult when getting their nails trimmed. The technician was friendly and my dogs were comfortable with her. She did their nails quickly with no distress at all to my dogs.

    I got my Golden Retriever here a little over a year ago. And I couldn’t wish for anything better. The staff was incredibly helpful. The owner was amazing and you CAN TELL he actually cares about the puppies and where they are going. My puppy was a happy healthy puppy. From the starts she was such a good healthy easy to train puppy. She’s the most amazing dog now and her and I just got back from traveling the country together. She has an amazing life. I can’t imagine life without Riley thank you so so much to everyone at Puppy Love. I wouldn’t think about getting a puppy anywhere else.

    Love this place and the store owner. I scheduled an appointment to meet the goldendoodle puppies in at the time (in 2022). The owner was kind and welcoming, answering our questions about the puppies and the breed. He also made sure we went home with everything we needed that day, and more! Very obvious he cares about these dogs and who they go home with. We are so pleased with our sweet Marni girl (15 mo).

    Exceptional experience! Customer for life! My family recently visited Puppy Love in hopes of bringing home one of their Frenchies when they arrived in June. Let me preface this by saying I’ve had dogs (usually in multiples) my entire life and some of our animals came to me from breeders and some from rescues so this is not my first rodeo going through this process. I can’t explain how impressed I was with this experience. Puppy Love exceeded any expectations I had. Everyone at Puppy Love is very knowledgeable and patient and made it effortless and so much fun. I should also mention my husband and I not only bought their Male Fawn Frenchie but an English Bulldog also that day and my brother visited shortly after and got our Frenchie’s sister. The puppies have adjusted amazingly at home and are sweet, healthy, and very adorable new additions. Getting a new puppy is such an exciting time and it was just the icing on the cake to have had the pleasure of dealing with seriously great people who run a responsible operation with so many beautiful well cared for fur babies. Kudos Puppy Love!! It’s nice to see someone getting it right!

    Brought our 2nd male shitzu home yesterday. Our first one Ruckus we got from somewhere else. Our new one Oakley is from puppy love and its safe to say me my husband and our 2 year old pup Ruckus are ALL OBSESSED. We are so in love with our little boy Oakley and he is one happy pup.     We just bought a Shiffon puppy from this place and everything went very well! We love our lil pup! Today he had his first vet visit and he is in perfect health! We tried for months and months to adopt a dog that really needed a home, but because of the pandemic every place was super strict or didn’t have any dogs at all which was very surprising. It was not easy that is why we decided to buy one. The person who I think was the owner was very helpful he went over all the paperwork and made sure we read every page and understood everything we were signing. He gave us a bunch of free food a free collar, leash and a toy! Our pup loves all his toys! It has been less then a week and Milo is already potty trained. He is such a well behaved puppy and he listens! Couldn’t imagine our life now without him!! It feels like we have had him much longer then we have!! Thank you puppy love for our new family member!!

    We were looking for a kitten to adopt that was good with other cats as well as dogs, which is a tall order. Dilhan contacted me shortly after I had completed DAWS adoption application, and informed me that there was a kitten available for adoption that was currently being fostered with a family that had other cats as well as dogs. I was very impressed with how quickly and smoothly the entire process took place. Dilhan initially forwarded photos of the kitten, then scheduled a time to meet the following day ( which he later changed to accommodate our schedule). When we arrived the following day, all the paperwork was prepared and he was very thorough while explaining the kittens medical history, microchip, etc. The following week I learned that prior to contacting me, he had reached out to our vet to confirm that we regularly brought our pets in for shots and exams, he also inquired about our dogs temperament and they’re thoughts about how the dogs would behave with a kitten. Both the DAWS organization as well as Dilhan do a remarkable job ensuring animals find safe, caring homes, and that the folks adopting from them are starting out on the right foot. Tim Sullivan

    We are absolutely over the moon with our experience and beyond impressed with DAWS. From the moment we inquired about fostering to adopt to bringing our pup (Gwen) home, it has been amazing. Everyone we’ve met at DAWS has greeted us with support, knowledge, care, and a clear love for what they do. The love this team has shown for our girl, Gwen is insurmountable. Dr. Marty and Meg Goldstein, Dr. Brenner, and the entire DAWS Clinic Care team have blown us away with the incredible love and support they have given her through multiple surgeries and very difficult recoveries. We feel incredibly blessed to have met this beautiful team of people who nurtured, loved, and supported her throughout her recovery. Their dedication to Gwen has impressed us from day one and it speaks volumes of their character and the organization’s values. We will forever be grateful for our experience with DAWS. They’ve been so awesome and helpful throughout the entire adoption process including connecting us with their incredible trainer, Payton who has helped us immensely in such a short period of time and they have answered all of our questions. We truly couldn’t have wished for a better organization to adopt from. We will continue to support them 1000x over! Thank you DAWS!

    I adopted a wonderful, perfect beagle, Boomer. B4 I picked him up he was checked over by a vet, had his teeth cleaned, had a bath and had such a great temperament, as most beagles do. DAWS is a wonderful place to adopt from. 5 stars are not enough.

    My wife started looking to adopt a dog . She looked online and found a dog she was interested in at Danbury Aninmal shelter . The family went to see Abby at there adoption event . We visited Abby 2 times and decided we wanted to adopt her . The volunteers and staff are great . They do not just give you a dog . They are looking for the pet to have a Forever home . It is process they want to make sure the pet is the right fit . We adopted Abby on the third visit and she went home with us . Abby is a great addition to our family. It has been over a month and she is adapting pretty well to our family
