a week agoThis is the place to go if you want to be ripped off. I signed up for the $10 special now I’m being charged $70 a month (have no clue why!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’ve contacted them apparently for NO REASON because I don’t have my money back, no explanation as to why they feel it’s ok to continue to charge me for NOTHING, and I better not get charged again. At this point I guess I will be contacting my bank to report the FRAUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Zips business practices are clearly not what they should be and this so called customer service is basically NON EXISTENT. I’ve already created a service ticket and I’m not being assisted !!!!!!!!!!4 months agoDon’t go here. Place sucks. Staff is very unfriendly. Trash everywhere. Quality of was is not what it used to be. Under the ownership of Wash Wizard, prices were great and quality of wash was amazing. Plus the staff was friendly. Business wash quality and staffing went downhill since new ownerships of Zips. Save your time go to Fins Car Wash a little further down rivers.a year agoWorst experience I’ve ever had at any car wash. The guy took my $25 knowing that the water jet in the rear wasn’t working. And neither was 1 of the spinning rag thing that’s supposed to wash the top of the car.
After exiting the machine, I saw that my car was the same as it was when I came in. I located the young Man, showed it to him and he said he knows that the jet was broken and he can’t give me a refund. Which makes absolutely no sense. Why take my money for a service that you know I won’t receive? And the vacuums don’t work properly either. I have yet to find the corporate number. I want my money back.
5 months agoWent to this car wash on Feb,27,2023 @11:50am to just rinse the polen off my car since here In CHARLESTON, SC it’s heavy right now. As I went through their car wash and came out I witnessed my driver rear view mirror was broken. I know for a fact it wasn’t broken because I just bought the vechicle and I am not the kind of person that makes a big fuss about things but this was just unacceptable to me. Mad but still calm,I went to the attendant on duty and asked who was the manager because their car wash broke my mirror. He proceeded to say the manager was off but would be back on the next day. Feb 28th,my bday,I go to the car wash and ask for the manager which his name would be James from what I was told. I was met by a different attendant,who claims James called off and that he was filling in for him. I feel like I’m getting the run around and I also feel like the guy who tells you to pull your car up should have pushed the mirrors in but hey,every car wash isn’t the same obviously. I called corporate but they say I need to contact the on property manager. Be careful going here because they clearly don’t care.2 months agoThis business is going down. It used to be the best when it was new. Vacuums don’t work. It doesn’t open on time. Trash everwhere. It’s now 806a.m. and I’m still waiting .

Wash bays have a handheld blower that is great for motorcycles and help with the removal of the extra water4 months agoSo, I’ve been having a really difficult time finding a car wash in the North Charleston Somerville area that was actually decent like the vacuums were the conditioner works. All that good stuff but, at last I finally found a great one! The owner was there while I was washing my car; I didn’t have my card with me so he made change for my large bill, so I could still use the car wash and was just overall really helpful. Very happy and will be back3 months agoI love the way that my car is so clean after it is washed. After my first wash I decided to purchase a monthly wash pass.9 months agoI don’t wash my car here. I use the pressure soap washer and its foam partner and clean my full size rugs out of my house. The pressure washer actually blows the dirt out of the rug and they look brand new once they dry. Much cheaper than taking someplace and having them professionally washed at $100 each.

Update: Tried calling yesterday and no agents available. Called again today and same thing. I pressed every single button to try to find an agent to talk to and nothing. Now it’s telling me I have to go on site to cancel after going to the zips location they told me I have to do it online now.
Used to be great until the equipment malfunctioned and damaged my light bar. The first time I let it go. The second time I was done as it completely damaged the whole light bar brackets and my pod holder. Driving down the road it constantly rattles now. I put a claim in and it has been months with not a word from them. Not a great location for anyone with extras on their vehicle. I loved this location but I’ll be putting my business elsewhere and wash my vehicles at home! Also will note that I can’t even cancel or get a refund until their customer service opens up on Sunday.
For almost two months I tried to get in contact with the manager at this location and have yet to hear back. Someone hit my vehicle in the wash then drove off and Zips have been no help. I submitted a claim and a police report when the incident occurred but they have yet to provide me with any information. I reached out online and was told I needed to go back to the location to submit another claim but still no response from the store manager. I was a loyal member for almost 10 years but this is ridiculous. They don’t have a direct number to the store and every time I go conveniently the manager isn’t in.
Then they went up 25% on their monthly subscription and provided no update before charging my card.
Devon was super friendly & entertaining. He helped me choose a good wash & swiped my card for me since I couldn’t reach. He made the whole experience easy. I highly recommend Zips Car Wash for a great clean & friendly employees 😊
The wash itself is great but the vacuums never seem to work properly. There is trash all over the parking lot and towels and cleaners are sometimes available. I enjoy using the facility but I would like to see these issues corrected.
Drive though and vacuum the car for a quick wash, pretty self explanatory, quick & easy.
A brush or some towels would be nice to clean the dashboard or the floor matts.
