What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Pretty nice place. It’s okay… nothing great but nothing horrible. The prices are alright as is the friendliness of our waiter. Staff could’ve been nicer (other than the employee who brought us our food – who wasn’t our waiter). He was exceptionally sweet & accommodating! My food was okay, not amazing not awful. I would come back.

  2. 1st time visit today. The food was amazing, the wait staff were great and prices not bad. Can’t wait to go again to try something else. Chicken avocado and mozzarella on brioche.

  3. Really big portions, tasty food, and we really liked our waiter, Ed. Ed was friendly, gave drink suggestions, and always checked to see if we needed anything else. Thanks, Ed! We went there at 9pm two nights ago (24th). I attached photos.

  4. Excellent food excellent service. Will revisit soon. Was there on a Sunday at 5pm, had a table near the bar, main dining room was not busy so the kitchen was really fast and on their A game. Ordered wings, clams, tomato bisque, Caesar salad, cocktails. 16oz NY Strip w Bacon Wrapped Shrimp was THE BEST w sides. Crem Brûlée to finish. Exceeded Expectations, Compliments to the Chef.

  5. Great food and atmosphere. The steak was cooked to perfection, with enough crisp edges to make it all the more scrumptious. French O soup A++, Atlantic Salmon A++++ Get a double order of Stuffed shrimp with your meal!

Service was very friendly and helpful. Especially in selecting from all of the options. I felt the pastries were reasonably priced compared to the market and what you’re getting Between 4 macaroons and a pumpkin pastry, absolutely delicious! Highly recommend

Our dinner here on New Years Eve was PERFECT. We had early reservations and arrived earlier than expected. We were seated at a very comfortable table, and our server was spectacular. Their cocktails are amazing. I had the Vanilla Chai. It tasted like an adult Vanilla Milk Shake but not as thick. From the French Onion Soup, Appetizers, Dinner and Dessert with Cappuccino…. everything had so much flavor and was worth every penny spent. My husband had the 72 hr Short Rib. It was cooked perfectly. I had the pan seared salmon. It was also cooked perfect and was the best I ever had. We shared two desserts. No wonder Cedric won Chopped Sweets. His quaint pastries are beautiful as they are delicious. The atmosphere is chic, lovely, quiet, and quaint. You have to walk through their beautiful bakery past the colorful bountiful pastries towards the back to get to the Bistro. Don’t mistake this place for other places upstairs. When you go, allow for enough time to sit and relax. It’s not a place you want to go if you’re in a rush. You’ll want to take it all in, relax, have a drink, and dine in and have dessert. When you’re ready to leave, don’t forget to take something home from the bakery. Rosie, our server was sweet. She was knowledgeable of the menu, answered all our questions, and was very attentive. Can’t wait to come back and dine in again. It’s great for any occasion, whether a Birthday, Anniversary, or Date Night. Go! You won’t be disappointed.

Cakes in Bistro Barberet & Bakery delicious, tender and, what is very important, they are not cloying. Their variety in structure and taste is great, so any person who comes to this bakery will be able to choose what he likes. The latte is excellent. The service staff is polite and knows all the products well. Thank you very much to all the workers and owners of Bistro Barberet & Bakery for the fact that they respect people.

I went to this place reading the reviews and I can assure you, YOU will love it. The service is 10/10, the ambiance is 10/10 and the deserts are a 10/10 aswell. The price is definitely on the higher end but worth every penny. Will definitely visit again!!

Incrediblely delicious desserts! We didn’t eat in the restaurant but I would like to sometime. The desserts are top notch though and reasonably priced. So, if you’re in the area, definitely stop in and give them a try!

We went for dinner on a Monday evening at 5. We had reservations, but that was not necessary. We were the only ones there for the first half hour! Great spot for a date night or special occasion. Darker lighting with candles, peaceful music, and beautiful artwork. Then the food was absolutely delicious. Lots of unique flavors and everything melted in your mouth. Servers were nice and checked on us the right amount. Price felt accurate for the quality of food. Altogether a lovely date night!

We absolutely loved our dinner tonight! My gin and Prosecco cocktail was refreshing and unique. We had the fried green tomato and shrimp & grits as starters – fresh, delicious and quite generous portions. We have had shrimp and grits so many places and by far this was one of the most unique we’ve had – I loved all the veggies! I had the trout main entree and really enjoyed the accompanying veggie salad as well as the subtle smokey poblano flavor of the gazpacho. My husband also enjoyed his chicken confit entree. Service was outstanding: our server was so friendly and attentive. They were also so kind to offer us a complimentary dessert because we were celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary. Lastly, the outdoor seating area was beautiful with tables nicely spaced. We look forward to returning soon!

We had a party of five, wait staff was cordial, helpful in our wine selection, patient with our questions, an overall wonderful experience during my friends milestone birthday celebration. The food was prepared well temperature wise as well as presentation; everything was delicious including the tasting spoon of root bisque (would like to see this on the menu)

This was a very pleasant dining experience from top to bottom. Everything is seasonal and locally sourced. We had a party of six so we ordered just about everything. The soup duo was exquisite: tomato and garlic scape bisque + sweet cream corn. The fried zucchini appetizer was delicious as was the beef tartare. My entree was the daily fish selection (barramundi) over gazpacho with smoked onions, cucumber, tomato and corn. Every bite was packed with flavor. Save room for dessert.

The small plates, cold and warm, were excellent. Great opportunity to share with your eating mates. Large plates were also excellent with a local flair. Cocktails were also on point. Our server, Noelle , was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
