a month agoI stayed in loft 8 great spot for the night are weekend of fun right down town the veiw is great with great bars and music 🎵 right behind the lofts great staff nice and quick service keepit up Cajun stays,a year agoI stayed in Loft #5, and I haven’t had a more comfortable stay in ages. All of the lofts are different as they are owned by different people, but Loft #5 was absolutely spacious, just what I needed and had everything I could ask for inside. The ONLY drawbacks if there were some was the trash outside the building door, the downstairs vestibule needs a little refresher (paint, clean floors), and the halls could use a vacuuming.2 years agoI am a traveling nurse and rented a loft from Leah for 1 month. She was completely aware that I had 2 dogs and 2 kids with me. She yessed me on all my questions to get us in real quick. She told me neighborhood was safe and even told us about the cameras in the hallway for safety. The next day we checked in and my kids were both stopped in the parking lot by homeless for money. The code to the main entrance door is given out by residents to food delivery people. Homeless literally stand right outside the main entrance. We were not allowed to make noise. Even during day time. Leah called me day 1 at work that my dog was barking. I explained they needed a little time to adjust to the new diggs. That night at dinner i received another call about the barking. Meanwhile you can hear the rest of the lofts partying all night thursday thru sunday. Lots of little things not working properly in apartment. Neighbors complain over every single little tiny noise. It was an uncomfortable stay to say the least. At the end she also charged my card 2 more times for more money as she said the loft smelled too much like dogs. I specifically said i did not authorize any more charges and she charged an additional $237 total. This place might be great for a single person or a couple just looking to join in the festivities. But my family experience was absolutely horrible5 years agoStayed in May for a concert one block away. Walked to dinner and to breakfast the next morning. Place was extremely clean, comfortable quiet and felt like I was at home. Can’t beat the location. Check in was seamless. Highly recommended5 years agoI really enjoyed my stay here. It was a great price for a place with a full kitchen and a ton of space. We had some friends come by for a card game andhad plenty of room to have drinks before going to dinner. We were also close enough to all the best places downtown.

Cajun Hostel was an excellent find! The host, staff and owner were all very friendly and attentive to our needs. We stayed here for over 5 months. The home is well equipped with EVERYTHING needed to be comfortable for one night or an extended stay. It’s a short walk to downtown and the neighbors are friendly as well. Overall my stay was exceptional!! Thank you to the Cajun Hostel crew for a great experience!!! I would recommend these accommodations to anyone visiting the area.
I stayed in Buchanan loft and was very impressed with the location. It was really convenient with multiple place to eat and drink within walking distance. Buchanan lofts and enjoyed the unit. It was very clean and convenient. I was so close to downtown and ma
I stayed at the one floor house next to the main two-floor house. It’s quiet, clean, has everything you need. Loved the kitchen area it’s very new. I also enjoyed the neighborhood as its in downtown but has lots of oak trees and you can hear the beautiful bird songs in the morning. It’s a very beautiful area especially on a sunny day.
I loved the house, I did not stay in the big house I stayed in the smaller one that’s located on the side and I liked it. What I didn’t like was the people who stayed there who were all in my business asking where I was going and what I was doing. I don’t think I’ll stay again because of this reason.
Criminally negligent, the 5/5 reviews are fake, booked 7 days here and didn’t even stay 1 night. No refund. No service or even a phone call / email reply. These people should not be running a hostel or a guest house, the owner is a self identified narciccist who just wants to travel. That’s great but don’t run a business if you’re not there. Really weird people and the worst experience in my life. Wasted 500 bucks that I’ll never get back.
