  2. We love Level Up! My son has been going since early 2021 and seeing the progress he’s made is incredible. On top of the Sensei’s and staff being knowledgeable and skilled, they are great teachers and amazing to the kids. I reccomend level up martial arts to everyone I know!

  3. My daughter has been with Level Up Martial Arts for four years and it has been an amazing experience! It is like a second home for her. She has grown in her martial arts but also in her confidence and leadership. Sensei Mike and the team are wonderful and have helped her become a strong and confident tween! Highly recommended!

  4. My daughter is nine years old and has been taking karate class since she was four. She has had a great experience at Level Up Martial Arts. This school has provided a disciplined but fun environment for learning self-defense, getting physical activity and building confidence with skill progression and achievement of personal goals. We have been very satisfied with her martial arts training so far and would definitely recommend this school to other families.

  5. My son has been going here for years; since it was Murray’s. Since the new owners took over, (Long time teachers at Murray’s) it is just as good as ever. My son loves going, and his concentration was almost instantly improved back when he started. And he loves going to classes. He has aspirations of becoming a teacher himself one day.

    All-in-all, Mike & Steph are great people, great sensei’s, and make for great owners of this dojo.

    My son attends the Greece location and I have nothing but thw utmost respect and love foe thw Greece staff. They have tough my son discipline and respect. even when we are having out typical kid issues it is nice to know that the Murray’s Martial Arts staff is there to assist with anything that we need. They encourage for kids to participate in other activities as well even if it interfere with there karate schedule. They went above and beyond for my son when he started his very rigorous football schedule. I love that private lessons werw offered to my son so that he didn’t fall to for behind. the staff is so friendly and welcoming. I couldn’t say enough good things about the staff and my son adore Sensei Kasey and values his opinion and leadership very much

    MMAC is incredible! My son has been doing karate there for the last 6+ months and is thriving! Sensei Kasey is a wonderful teacher who makes class fun while also making sure the kids are still learning and taking class seriously. This isn’t just a place where people go to learn karate. This is a family! I HIGHLY recommend! 🥋OSS

    Our son was 4 and we did the trial membership at the Greece location. We wanted our little guy to be able to listen, follow instruction, show respect and learn life long skills! His attention has been so much better since he started and he has learned so much even counting to 10 in Japanese! He started school this year and the teachers notice his respect in the class room and towards others. I’m very grateful for the caring staff and level of professionalism!

    Great people, great atmosphere. My son is less than a month in and is already having the time of his life. He’s done other sports and activities before but this is the first to truly excite him. He’s always ready and eager to be there. And the values that are instilled in these young minds align perfectly with what we want for home and school as well.

    I have looked around for a martial arts place to send my daughter for over 6 months. When I reached out to MMAC, I was very impressed at their timely response. We went for orientation and it was set that we would enroll her in the trial. I have never been more impressed with a place. As a former martial artist myself, it has been of upmost importance to me to find a place, where the instructors are both strict, but kind have kind hearts at the same time. They teach children the respect, confidence and skills that they need to succeed in their lives. I am thrilled that she will be officially joining the MMAC family, as will I. An amazing place to send your children, or join yourselves! Highly recommended!!

    My son has been part of Rochester Kung Fu and Fitness for about a month now. I love this program has it is more than Kung Fu, it’s character building! My son works hard in class, at school and home! He looks forward to each class and loves that he has the freedom to attend as many days as he wants each week. He is working towards his character stripes each day by doing homework and reading, learning self-discipline, making healthy choices and practicing! We have tried other sports but he hasn’t loved anything as much as Kung Fu. Sifu Paul, Jow Ga and the instructors are so patient and helpful to both the students and parents. I would recommend this school to anyone. We love being part of this community/family!!

    This academy is the best!! My boys have developed more confident, responsibility and respect among others and themselves. My little one arrived at the academy and didn’t spoke any English, even though he is still learning he has never felt left out in the academy and the staff have helped him all the way!! Have alot to thank this academy!!

    We love Rochester Kung Fu and Fitness. My son has been part of this academy for 4 months! In the words of a 7 year old: I like everything about Kung Fu! He is learning self discipline, to make healthy choices everyday, reading more, encouraged to do his homework each day and works hard at home to practice everything he is learning in class! I could not be more proud of him. Rochester Kung Fu and Fitness great for kids and families, the facility is clean and instructors are the absolute best! I would recommend anyone at least give it a try! We started off with the 2 week trial and never left!

    I found this place because I wanted to have my grandkids learn Kung Fu and I googled local places in my area. Boy did I luck out! Not only did my grand daughter fall in love with the school and make wonderful friends there! They have fantastic family programs so that I can train with her! We are now in Intermediate /advance classes at our academy and we have never regretted it. I just can’t say enough good things about my experience here at Rochester Kung Fu and Fitness!
