  1. Trained here for the past year and half and this gym is a family. They train hard and push each other while welcoming anyone that walks through the door. Professor Marcelo is an incredible leader that is extremely knowledge. You will learn so much here!

  2. Prime Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a safe and amazing place to learn Jiu jitsu. The kids/teen program is one of the best I have even seen. Each instructor/Professor takes their time to help the kids grow and learn on and off the mat. Some of the adult students started with Prime as a child and years later are still training there. The adult programs really help any skill level develop in Jiu jitsu. My time training at Prime has tough me lesson that help both with completing in tournaments and everyday life. Professor Marcelo helped me understand how to train the right way to achieve my goals. Lessons that will stay with me for a life time. “Train in the storm to fight in the rain” 🤙🏼

  3. Family… That’s how you are treated here, not just the students – anyone who walks in the door. Other studios might be flashy, might be bigger but you won’t find a more knowledgeable, skilled, high ranking, well respected, professional and loving Professor than you will here. Professor Marcelo not only cares about your skills on the mat, but he cares about character and integrity. And he teaches and encourages this from the young students to the adults. I know this firsthand because not only has my grandson studied under Professor Marcelo, but so has his father (for many many years). I 100 percent recommend this studio gym not only for the skills you will learn but the family that you will become a part of.

  4. I have been training at Prime for about 7 months now and I have learned more about life than I have playing high school sports. I’m still very young in my Jiu Jitsu journey but I’m learning many lessons about the importance of community, being comfortable in uncomfortable situations, humility, and respect. Training at Prime has changed the way I view obstacles in life, it’s shaped me to persevere and welcome challenges because I’m getting used to those similar situations on the mat. Professor Marcelo is an incredible teacher of life who pushes his students to their potential but also loves them. You can feel the genuineness of the Coaches and Professors when you walk in the door. Prime is a family and I love it for that. I have found such an incredible group of people who come from all walks of life.

  5. Came to visit Prime BJJ over spring break and loved it! We instantly felt at home. Everyone was extremely welcoming and helpful. Fantastic instruction and fun rolls. Highly, highly recommend 😊

    Tiger Rock Martial Arts is an AMAZING place to take your kids to!! The staff is incredibly patient and friendly!The Tiger Cubs class is a great way to introduce your children to martial arts! They do more than just teach martial arts, they teach values such as patience, good attitude, listening, obeying and courage so the kids are learning to be better during class and outside of the class. They have a different lesson every class period so the children don’t get bored. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone looking to start Martial Arts!

    Some may think, “he put 5 stars negligently”, but let me explain why I rate them so high. I was previously a student, an employee, and a sincere martial artist at this establishment (unfortunately I had to leave because my school is in an other state). I was affiliated with Tiger Rock Martial Arts, and more importantly with the Tuck Family for more than 14 years. I am a better man than I would have ever been if it wasn’t for this establishment. I was treated great and pushed to achieve my potential. Aaron and Mary Tuck are living examples of the important tenets of Taekwondo (honor, courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, courage, community, strength, humility, and knowledge) they not only taught me self-defense, but they taught me important life lessons. As a child I struggled to have self-control, especially in school. My enrollment in this martial arts CHANGED me and has helped me become a master in controlling myself physically and emotionally. All thanks to The Tucks and Tiger Rock Martial Arts, they have helped me become who I am, and I will honor them forever for that.

    The Tiger Rock staff has always been so helpful! My kids LOVE their classes and it’s a great value for what you receive. Mrs. Tuck is amazing! My son James does lessons with Mr.Peterson and Mr. Peterson has the patience of a saint and my son loves him and talks about him at home constantly. I’d highly recommend Tiger Rock-north to anyone looking for something to keep their kids busy and to learn new skills. Thank you guys so much!

    Great Jujitsu academy. I have been training there for a week now and am treated as if I have trained there for years. The team is very welcoming and supportive of one another. I got there a little early one day and was able to watch the kids class. The professor was very good with the children; he was able to keep them focused on learning and allowed them to expend their energy in a productive manner all while making it fun for the kids. I will be bringing my son in to attend the children class. If you are looking for a family orientated, welcoming and professional place to polish those jujitsu skills Gracie Barra Colorado Springs is the place.

    Gracie Barra Colorado Springs has been an amazing experience so far. I have been attending for about three months. I train in the 0515 class with Coach Paul and am continuously impressed by his ability to teach and break down concepts, taking time on individuals to ensure understanding. Gracie Barra is always clean, consistent and enjoyable. The variety of class times got me there, and the quality instruction keeps me there. Highly recommend this amazing school to anyone and everyone.

    Top notch place to train. Great kid/teen programs and a great variety of adult classes to fit your schedule. Professor Bryan is a fantastic guy that runs a sharp, clean gym that is friendly and respectful. All the other professors and coaches are also extremely knowledgeable. Great place to get into competing. Hands down a great place to get in shape and learn a martial art!

    My son (5 years old)has been attending GB for almost a year now and I have nothing but great things to say about the school and its instructors. Professor Brian is the heart and soul of the school, his ability to instruct even the youngest of children is exceptional. The coaches are also top notch, adding to a warm and friendly family environment. This a really great school.
