What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Delicious Italian bakery in Staten Island with a super efficient line and cheap prices yet high quality! The breads here were delicious and insanely fresh, as were the cannoli and pastries! I loved the bread themed paintings and decor inside as well. Really enjoyed the bread we took home to make garlic bread the next day, plus the cannoli was perfect and freshly filled – as it should be!! Didn’t buy cake here but I was tempted, as all the cakes on display looked both stunning and delicious!

  2. Really decent place for some pasta, salad, or sandwich. Had the large house salad for about 14 after tax. Enough to fill you if you didn’t eat anything at all before hand, also got a dessert for 3 dollars

  3. This is my second time going to this amazing place. We sat inside this time and we split a veggie panini with fresh mozzarella. Since it’s a bakery, we had to assume the bread was made on the premises. It was light and fresh-tasting. The veggies were perfectly grilled, flavor seared in and still had a crisp to them. The mozzarella also tasted fresh…

For desert we had a chocolate crumb bun. We are both fans of crumb buns and this didn’t disappoint.

  4. Royal crown is a Staten Island staple! A true #iykyk Love coming here for a sweet treat for every loved ones birthday. Tonight, had the pleasure of dining in and our server Flori was amazing!! Recommended the best sandwiches and was super attentive. I already 100% recommend take out and desserts, and can also now recommend dining in as well! 10/10

  5. A lot of varieties of bakery. Cakes, breads, pies, and other kinds of sweets. Recommend

Coffee and tea also serve here.
Except for sweets and drinks you can also have dinner with lots of kinds of food.
I am not good at writing reviews, but I wrote what I saw at this place. Have a try to visit this place. Have a nice speeding time.
Using my account, my daughters earn a pin from the goggle map (attached in photo) as a local guide, and they put reviews for every place where we are going.

Annadale Diner’s decor is unrivaled but personally, I find the diner itself to be overrated. I used to come here very frequently when I first started my job at Snug Harbor as an intern a few years ago because it was right by the train. From my experience, the food I had was extremely overcooked. I almost always had chicken tenders and fries there along with my signature onions and pickles on the side. The chicken tenders and fries were the hottest ones I ever had and I would say not even 10 minutes was enough for them to cool down. I did find the prices to be fair at least. As for the service, it was not very impressive. The only thing I can really write to home about with it was that they eventually remembered that I always drink at least a full pitcher of water with lemon when I went there so they would have it ready for me. I always came there extremely dehydrated from my job so having the full pitcher of water with lemon was the best experience I could ask for there. I still have weirdly fond memories of how I would walk back to the train dizzy and nauseous from the sheer excess amount of water with lemon I drank there. Towards the end of my time at Snug Harbor as an intern, I brought my friends to celebrate some good news. I later brought my friend Jesse there. The hostess remarked that this was the first time I brought friends there and that she was not used to this idea. I was a bit disappointed by this as me and my other friends had this hostess when we went there to celebrate the good news. Personally, I didn’t really care much about this but I do consider this as reflecting some disconnect between the staff and the regulars. I ultimately stopped coming because of one really bad day I had where I got the impression the hostesses were laughing at the fact that I came alone. To make matters worse I almost couldn’t get in because I had to present my jab pass through my phone which was on 2%. I ultimately was able to show the hostess in time but that left a very bad taste in my mouth and finally I saw a bunch of signs in there supporting a candidate that my family had a feud with before. Between all of these bad experiences I decided to stop going there. To sum up the experience quickly: Extremely overcooked food, average to mediocre service focused on rushing you out and fair, honest enough prices. The place is amazingly decorated at least besides some of the political signs. As a place that I’m wholly ambivalent on, I would rate this place a 2.5 out of 5 if I could but due to those final bad experiences I feel compelled to round it down to a 2 out of 5. In the aftermath of these bad experiences a few years ago, I actually wanted to round up to a 3 but after thinking about it over the years, it’s probably more in line with my actual thinking to round it down to a 2 out of 5 rating. The picture is me and my friends when we went to Annadale Diner to celebrate some good news.

First time for my breakfast there. Egg Benedict doesn’t look too good for the price they charge. I prefer my egg Benedict with some greens. But service is great and waitress is super nice and friendly. Menu price from their website is not up to date.

Came from Ohio to visit family in Staten Island! There were 9 of us and with no reservation, we were seated within 5 minutes. The atmosphere was friendly and the restaurant was festively decorated. Our orders were taken promptly and the food was delicious. I had the Cheeseburger done perfectly with curly fries. So good! Prices were quite reasonable and the service was wonderful. I will definitely be back!

As a restaurant, this place is our go to but this review is geared towards the events Annadale Terrace arranges. My family has had many parties in the upstairs room but our most recent was my baby shower this Sunday and it was my favorite yet. The food got rave reviews from everyone. It was served timely, hot and delicious. Plus the menu options for the buffet were plenty and they even accommodated us when we asked for a veggie dish. The staff was attentive and happy to do anything we asked. Besides food and staff, we love the room because it is modern and simple making it fun and easy to work with when decorating and incorporating a theme. The room is light and bright which always makes for the best photos. The whole venue checks all the boxes for us every time we’re planning an event which is why we continuously come back.

The atmosphere is nice. The food that we managed to try was good. Sadly the wait to eat was over 55 minutes and the restaurant was not even packed. Because we other engagements pending, the food had to be taken to go. The establishment made no adjustment for the inconvenience and offered no apologies.

This is literally the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had (and I’ve had my fair share 😏)! Posted some pics below, but these were my favorites; The mixed appetizer was delish- the Babaganush tasted like smoky, grilled perfection and the Acili Ezme was fresh and super flavorful. The WINGS WERE SURPRISINGLY AMAZING. Perfect amount of sauce and fall-off-the-bone tender! The Falafels were well-made. The 2nd best I’ve ever tasted! The Zara mixed grill allows you to sample alllll the meats (well almost lol). Everything was lightly seasoned yet tasty!—>my favorite was the beef shish kebab. And the cheesecake was yummmm!!!! Highly recommend this restaurant if you are craving classic, delicious Turkish food! Honorable mention: Customer service was great as well!!!!

Placed a take out order for over 20 people for a family gathering and all the food containers were not sealed properly. It was a major embarrassment in front of my guests to provide messy and greasy plates. An order of over $700 arrived just like how you see in the photos. All plates are not sealed and grease is all over. I’m sure they were thrilled to make the money on such large order but they couldn’t bother to make sure the order is packed the right way. I do not support businesses that do not care about their quality of service or their customers’ satisfaction. Therefore, I will not be ordering from this place ever again. By the way the food is sub-par and isn’t anything special.

Bring back the A&W Diner. This is sad excuse for a Gyro wrap. The meat is reused reheated crispy with bones in the wrap. Look like it was five day old, although I know they made a fresh. I ordered a gyro wrap, asked what comes with it they told me sauces, sauces were missing when I get home. I ordered mixed appetizer cold salads. I asked what does it come with? They told me nothing. I asked her two breads, no breads came with my order. Was I charged for it? Yes. This is an easy fix. You can do better.

Excellent food. I order the hummus and it comes with amazing bread as a side. I’ve also tried the chicken kabobs, they come with a rice pilaf that is very good. I would also recommend the shepherd’s salad. Everything we’ve ordered from here has been excellent.
