My white bean soup was well seasoned and flavorful. Cheese sandwich was perfectly toasted and gooey. Wife’s mushroom soup needed a little salt, which is fine and her mushroom pastry thing was divine. We have traveled to France so we can say this is pretty good and affordable for counter service. My breakfast was cooked exactly as I had asked. Produce was fresh. My croissant was flaky and soft on the inside. Great atmosphere. The only negative things was I sat down and had no clue I was suppose to grab silverware from the drink counter. The gentleman at the register should have said here is your number silverware is to your left and sit wherever you like. I got handed a number and asked if I wanted my receipt. It wasn’t busy and there was no customer behind me in line. Could have been more helpful. Over all 5 stars though 👍. Had a great breakfast at a good price. The breakfast menu is mostly American and the lunch is a mixed bag. Inside seating is surprisingly large around a wonderful fireplace (very handy for those cold summer days in Arizona). My first time eating here was in May 2021 to celebrate a combo graduation, Mother’s Day and Birthday with a party of 10. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Everything was amazing and they not only have fancy food but country style food (like a huge helping of mashed potatoes with chicken chicken). I loved the shrimp with their amazing hot sauce the best! There is something for everyone and the portions are generous. Customer service is excellent and we didn’t have to wait long at all to get served. The ambiance! Low lighting and secluded tables. I had the red velvet cake for dessert and it was to die for! It was the first time I ever had red velvet cake and I’m so hooked on it that I’ve been buying it every week since May. I’m so happy I chose this place and I highly recommend it if you need to take a group of people to a restaurant and don’t know where to go. They do not disappoint!
The food was very good, big portion, tasty flavor. And the service was super nice, we enjoyed Hailey’s good friendly smiley service, she was so nice to bring us another mashed potatoes dish after we told her we found a little hair in it. Then she was super nice to take the dish off our bill after we told her we found another small hair in the dish. Thank you Hailey!
The mushroom was great! I love the cute little mushroom with burgundy flavor in it, just one bite you know you would like it more and more!
The veggies were also great, perfectly cooked, juicy and easy to bite, fresh and tasty.
We would like to come back for the great service, good environment.
First time trying and most definitely will not be our last! The service here was so amazing ! Our food was out in a timely manner and delicious!!!! The customer service alone deserves 5 stars! I HAD to stop the manager and praise this restaurant because the teamwork left me and my husband amazed! Not ONCE did we have to ask for anything! If our waiter wasn’t available and another server walked by they would take care of our needs or refill our drinks ! Just amazed!!!!! I wish I could give more then 5 stars.. thank you for the amazing experience ⭐️✨🌟
The chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy with glazed carrots is fantastic! Doug and I both had this for lunch and took home left overs for supper. We love Charleston’s and they never disappoint no matter what state we live in! I want to try other dishes but can’t seem to stray away from this meal 🤣. You honestly cannot go wrong with this restaurant! Christian was our waiter. He was always checking on us, very kind and did a great job! Great experience!
We didn’t know what to expect since this was our first time here. Other than the high ratings on Google Map, we knew nothing about this restaurant. But the ratings turned out to be real. We very much enjoyed their food. Shrimp Cargot was surprisingly delicious. Top Sirloin came with a loaded baked potato that was the the best I’ve ever had. Their house salad was of generous portion and fresh. Our waitress was extremely friendly and professional, so were all the staff that had served us. This place is on our list to return now.
