  1. Came to an appointment and was told I owed over $200 for a past due bill. They said it was because my insurance was maxed out. They said i could not be seen for my appointment until i paid. I was never informed of this balance i had and i had 2 prior appointments before this for crowns. Why didn’t they tell me about this balance before I left the last time? Because it was not on my itemized treatment list. Anyway, I could not pay so i left.
    Another experience, during one of my appointments I was getting a crown and left in SO much pain. I understand pain is expected from a crown but I had canker sores ALL over my mouth. I probably had 7-8 of them. I couldn’t eat for 4 days and was in so much pain. My mom called to talk to someone because she was so upset with the amount of pain I was in and they told her they would send in a prescription for some lidocaine. The prescription never got sent in, so the next day (Friday) we called to check and they said they would send the prescription but it would have to wait until Monday because the dentist was already gone for the day. So i spent the entire weekend in pain. I haven’t gone back since.
    other than that, the assistants were very friendly. Just not a good experience for me.

  2. Don’t use them. We paid the amounts quoted for dental our work up front as required. Which was around $8000.00 or more. We unexpectedly received additional bills totaling almost $2000 close to a year later. They said to his is what our insurance didn’t pay. We Started making payments on the outstanding balance. Now we’re being sent letters threatening to put us in collections. My advice is to use someone else. I’ve never had this happen with any other dentist.

  4. This is by far the best dentist office I have ever been too. You guys care about me and my opinion and you treat me like family!! You guys offer drinks and snacks….what really got my attention was the fact of them also having warm luxury blankets to give you if you are cold to make you feel even more comfortable under their care. This place offers so many different plans so many different ways of paying…. The whole staff is just 100% amazing in every way!!! They are there for you 100% they are willing to explain to you however you need it to be explained..just so you know what is going on and the details of it…. They Actually care about you and your smile and your comfort in their office more than they do the money… They are just truly amazing they are super helpful super thoughtful and caring. They do anything and everything to make sure that you are one hundred percent satisfied and one hundred percent comfortable in their office and they want you to feel like you are in your own home relaxing. I highly recommend this place to everyone! All ages all concerns and all procedures?.Arkansas Family Dental is MY number one!! I WILL FOREVER RECOMMEND PEOPLE TO THEM!! BEST EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD AT A DENTIST OFFICE!! They give you gifts chances to win prizes and chances to get out of your home with your family and go get together eat and play games with the whole Arkansas Family Dental group! They are just all-around amazing!!!

  5. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile! I felt part of the family immediately. The check in process was simple and fast.
    The DA and Dentist were all very knowledgeable and were able to explain everything to me in laymen term. I am so excited that I came across this business and will be using them going forward. Also, they treat children. Another plus!!

    My first time there and I was nervous. Everyone was nice and explained in detail what was going to happen at my visit. They did not look down at me for having not gone to a dentist in a long time. My treatment plan was explained with valid reasons for taking certain measures to ensure my quality of life. I can’t wait for my continued journey with the agency on my dental needs. Update ** I had to get my teeth pulled. I was terrified. I was going to cancel the appointment but I decided to go. The dental assistant was already waiting for me at the front desk. I was very honest at the beginning about my anxiety. She gave me great encouragement and the dentist came in an also was encouraging. He explained everything he was doing, when I would feel some pain or pressure. Even though the process of pulling the teeth out didn’t hurt my anxiety was causing me to tear up every now and then. The dental assistant wiped my eyes and kept with the encouragement and the dentist as well. It felt like 30 minutes had passed and 5 teeth pulled. My recovery time was quick. I will be getting my fillings next. I want to thank the team for being awesome. Normally I would have had a panic attack but you walked me patiently through it. Update part 2: I got my temporary bridge and crown for upper right side. It was different. But it was easy going. Rachel and her assistant kept me engage by talking to me about life and keep me in the loop of what was happening. It felt like we was having a normal day having brunch drinking long islands… I swear I was okay. When I had an issue from a bottom right side tooth began hurting . They stopped assessed the situation, did a temporary fix and bam! We was back on the game plan. As a person with negative experiences with dentists, I am constantly surprised by how I am treated and how receptive I am to everyone. All the staff seem so darn nice and happy. I have a few more visits before my million dollar smile returns. I can’t wait to come back to my next session.

    All my life I have always had a small fear of going to the dentist. But at 61 years of age I have really found a dentist who has made me feel at ease. Dr. Scallion of Little Rock Family Dental Care, is a great dentist. He and his staffed have really made things calm for me and their work is superb.     Dr Willis is phenomenal. His staff are wonderful and the location is fantastic. I am afraid of dentists, but I was not afraid Dr Willis at all.
