- Reviews:My mother was in Cherry Laurel for five years. During her stay there , everyone was very helpful and it was run efficiently. Valerie, (the current Director) was especially helpful and quick to solve any problems my mother or myself brought up. The rooms are spacious. Ms Donna plans wonderful activities for the residents. Dancing with Dave on Wednesdays was a favorite of my moms. Cherry Laurel is a very warm and inviting place across the board and all the staff truly cares for all the residents. The sales manager who led the tour was kind and informative – we didn’t have many remaining questions to ask after our meeting/tour. We ran into the head manager, who seemed caring and quickly established a connection with my mother-in-law that made us feel she would be in safe place. We looked at studios and 1br apartments; all were clean and seemed to be well maintained when we tested different facets of the apartments. The common areas of the building are now being renovated in increments, which should be a nice change for the residents. The one bedroom apartments are nice and roomy, and the balcony looks out over a beautiful green space. Cherry Laurel is a small community where everyone knows everyone. The staff are so warm and welcoming. The director, Valerie knows every one by name. Ms Donna plans fun activities- like bingo, craft days, special events and outings to local restaurants. The rest of the staff are sweet, kind and truly care about the residents! - Reviews:I moved into Mulligan Park Gracious Retirement Living almost two weeks ago. I am very THANKFUL that I did. The residents are loving, kind and helpful. They are amazing. The managers and assistant managers are helpful and I would say work hard . They work hard, but everything they do seems to come so naturally. Everyone is welcoming and warm. The other staff members are so helpful and very accommodating. The facility is so beautiful. It is decorated with such lavish decor. The apartments are very lovely and are very comfortable. I am so very BLESSED to be a resident here. I am so happy to be living at this facility. The service is excellent from the bus driver to the kitchen, the dining room, the housekeeper, and the maintenance. Clean and welcoming. Games, activities and crafts for residents are offered in the main gathering area. Happy hour and bingo are available most afternoons. Response to resident needs is OK, but sometimes residents have to wait 15-30 for assistance after using their call pendants.
Everyone here has been so easy to deal with. As loved ones, it is a good feeling knowing that our parents are being taken care of by a great and understanding staff. They have helped us through the heart-wrenching decision and have helped make this transition as smooth as possible.
We recently moved our mom to Tapestry Senior Living and are happy with our decision to do so. We looked at 10 facilities across the state where Dad has family, and found Tapestry Senior Living to be the best.
I cannot express in words, how pleased I have been with assistance from Jaleesa Kemp in helping my grandmother become a resident at Tapestry Senior Living-Lakeshore. She went above and beyond to assist getting her in a room she liked, helping us obtain documents/records needed and guiding my grandmother through this huge transition. My grandmother is so happy being at Tapestry. I haven’t seen her smile a real smile in years until she moved in. I am so excited there is a place like this for her with so many activities and pleasant, caring staff. I feel 100% confident she will be cared for with love!
They offer a very engaging and beautiful environment. My loved one has adjusted well to living at Tapestry Senior Living. She has independence with all the amenities of assisted living that she needs.
