  2. It’s not a bad place and Paige, who works in the office is kind hearted as well as professional. The units and overall building are clean. Maintenance staff are timely and thorough in resolving any problems. The bi-weekly trips to various grocery and department stores are very convenient.
    HOWEVER……Upper management needs work.

  3. Doors were left wide open on multiple occasions even though there’s a key access entry from non tenants forcing the doors open. Entrance way was remodeled with new furniture and decor even though tenants were told they couldn’t sit in the visiting area. Construction is a little narrow in the apartment to be considered handicapped accessible. Partial security deposit was returned upon moving out and not the full amount even though all items were moved out on the first of the month. Takes too long to hear from management at a suitable time. Grounds are kept presentable.

    Based on what I’ve seen this looks like a nice place to stay if you are an older person that is no longer able to live at home alone. There seems to be plenty of activities to do and the food looks good too. The people that work there and the folks that live there are really nice

    Having peace of mind of knowing that a loved one can be in a place that will take care of their needs from housekeeping to maintenance, from 3 meals a days to activities. They have all areas of a seniors life covered. Looking out for a loved well being and socialization is something you can not put a price on.

    If you care about your loved ones this place will care as well. Really have had no problem that they didn’t fix and fixed in a timely manner at that. Debra in the front office deserves a raise if you ask me all the staff there deserves one.

    Brookdale Shreveport has been a lovely experience for my 95 year old dad for the last two years, since losing my mom… the were together 72 years. He wanted to meet people and enjoy activities like dominos, Bingo, music specials and much more, without the responsibility and upkeep of a home. It’s been a delight.

    Brookdale Shreveport has been a godsend to our family. My mom was a resident there for about 2 1/2 yrs and they took the best of care for her. The staff became a part of our family and took the best of care of her. Everything is great including the food. If you ever need an assisted living for yourself or a family member, I would definitely recommend Brookdale Shreveport!

    We were delighted with the care that my mother-in-law received during her stay at Brookdale. The staff and administration were outstanding and very professional. Because it is a relatively small senior community, it was obvious that my mother-in-law was treated Like a member an extended family by the staff at Brookdale. The nursing staff was excellent, as was the housekeeping staff. The administration was very caring and compassionate, and worked extremely well with us in our time of need. We would not hesitate to use Brookdale’s services again.
