  1. The Team at Capitol Hill is upbeat and caring. Capitol Hill is in a remarkable location as it is close to everything downtown. They have wonderful entertainment and food. The staff cares for each resident as if they were their own family member. If you want to have a warm, family environment for your loved one, definitely tour this community.   2. The staff and passion at Capitol Hill is unmatched. I was able to attend an event with my grandmother in memory care. They had a dance with a live singer, beauty artists, and a beautiful dinner set up. The staff dressed up with residents, danced, and dined with everyone. It was truly special and deeply appreciated that their staff takes the time to plan events like this for the memory care residents. Not many centers would put that kind of effort and compassion into making their residents smile. Thank you!

  3. This place is so amazing! They have such an amazing friendly staff, and they take care of your family members so incredibly well! They are kind and nurturing, and they make sure that all of their residents are comfortable and I couldn’t have wished for a better place! Their food is so good and is well above other assisted-living facilities that I have seen! They also have great entertainment as well. One time one of their staff members put together a country swing dancing show for all of the residents and it was so entertaining and my family member loved it! The facility is always well kept and organized! You are always welcomed with a bright and friendly smile and you can just tell that this is a place that truly cares about their residence and making life better for them!! I tell everybody I know about this place and if you were trying to find somewhere that will take amazing care of your loved ones, this is it! Recommend 100%!!

  4. I am updating my post because I wanted to share my experience visiting Capitol Hill’s Family Pie Night. I was so impressed with the entire atmosphere. I could tell the residents were genuinely happy and having a good time. There was a large number of them that spent the entire evening talking and laughing with each other. Many of them expressed to me how much they enjoy living at Capitol Hill and how appreciative they are of the staff that works so hard and consistently to provide them with enjoyable activities. The pie eating contest was the highlight of my evening, made up of 2 residents and 3 grandchildren. It was messy, and so fun! Great job Capitol Hill! I’m so glad I attended!

  5. My husband was a resident of the Memory Care unit at Capitol Hill before he passed away. I had moved him to Capitol Hill from another facility, seeking a loving and beautiful environment in which he could spend the last months of his life. The caregivers were the best I’ve ever seen, truly angels on earth. I visited my husband at different times during the day and evening. Every time I was there, not only did the staff respond quickly and kindly to my husband’s needs, but I observed them treating every patient in their care with dignity, compassion, and love. I will be forever grateful for each one of them. They not only cared for my husband, but took care of me as well during the most difficult days of my life.

    This is one of the best Independent living facilities I have ever seen. Great 55+ community. If you want to have downtown living, have all your food prepared and downsize your busy life then this is the place to do it! The staff are so great too!

    I am Raymond Dautel, and as an employee at the Wentworth at Parklane one may assume that I am not objective; however, anyone that knows me, will confirm that I am only able to sell what I am thoroughly convinced of and can stand behind. As the sales director I am privileged to introduce people to a unique wonderful and even magical place, that they may call home here at Parklane. In our beautiful Atrium setting, our residents, staff and guests enjoy delicious food and fantastic performances in memorable events and day to day activities. Although I have served the senior generation for many years and in different capacities, I have never seen or experienced another place that is comparable, anywhere. The atmosphere that welcomes you here at Parklane, is a unique combination of a treat to all your senses! The beauty of palms and sunshine and the sight of happy people, the grand smells and tastes of delicious food, the wonderful sounds of music and excited conversations is packaged in the love of family and friends. There is truly nothing like it anywhere! Thank you residents, all their families, the staff and all the friends that make Parklane the special place that it truly is!

    Stellar Corporation could use improvements. There are some important issues within that company that should be addressed as soon as possible. Those unaddressed affairs are personally effecting the staff and in turn the residences well-being and satisfaction. Communication is a must and there is an immense need of improvement between Stellar Cooperation & Park Land Senior Living. I’ve noticed a greater amount of turnover in employees here which says a lot about how those in corporate management beyond this specific living home, manages conflict, handles feedback, & execute improvements. I’d suggest looking into different a company as a whole! Good luck out there!

    I don’t know if the maintenance people are their own employees or third party, but we are in the middle of a pandemic and they just tried to enter and NONE of them were wearing masks. I told them they need to be wearing one before I’ll let them in and none of them had masks on them. They said they had some in the office and they’ll grab them and come back. I went back to putting my food away and was washing my hands when they came back and rang the door bell. But they left before I could finish washing my hands and come open the door for them. It’s unacceptable behavior to be entering into strangers’ homes unmasked in the middle of a serious pandemic, especially when it’s a 55+ community.

    The Office Staff at Lakeside Village (1580 W 3940 S, SLC, UT), are phenomenal and service oriented and the folks who continuously work hard to maintain the beautiful landscape surrounding the units are very nice and courteous. Lakeside Village boasts of its beautiful landscaped surrounding it, and the quick response of both the office staff and the maintenance crew when something does not work or needs to be fixed. Thank you Breanna and your crew.

    I am under 55 and this place is a joke. The staff was not kind AT ALL. Dawn and the blonde in the office next to her seemed to believe they are the cats meow. They had EVERYTHING I wanted in my new home and more but are sticklers on the pet policy, even thought I am more than willing to pay more for one cat over their max. The counter tops in one unit were appalling (a breeding ground for germs). The doors were not painted or stained. The two appartments wer NOT clean, although i was told one had brand new carpet. The storage areas are atrocious just mudded sheetrock, no paint, and insect HAVEN. Thankfully Dawn was rude with me and I noticed a GIGANTIC no show on my viewing because I couldn’t find the e-mail. I feel that she was a bit persnickety so I’m actually happy they turned me down because I WILL find BETTER, that will NOT be hard. Your loss my gain.

    Update 2022, they are doing MUCH better. A change in management has occurred and they are very helpful. I really appreciate all of the office and maintenance staff they have now. From 2017: We specifically picked out this place for my mom because of the duck pond and the pool. Before management changed it was great. Now she just received a notice that “no one under 25 is allowed in the pool after 6pm”. There are 18 year olds that rent here and people with children. If they don’t comply with this rule they are fined $75!!! AND the pond was so filthy that my mother became sick because of her compromised immune system. I am SO DISAPPOINTED at how downhill this place has gone. Do not rent here. The staff has become rude and uncaring and the mainance does not do their job…and they use the word “funnest” on their flyer. That’s not a word.
