  1. I agree with the previous review. My Dad was at Rolling Hills for just a few months, and the management is not very helpful at all. The meals also are substandard for what you pay. I talked to several residents and they were not happy with just two choices a day or less. The place is pretty and well maintained but the value for your dollar is not good. I would not recommend placing any relative at the location. Also read the fine print when you decide to leave, unless your notice is on the first of the month they will charge you for that month and the next month as well. Good luck.

  2. Rolling Hills Ranch is the best Independent Living in all of Omaha. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for care on behalf of their loved one. The team of professionals is very courteous. They truly care about their team and residents. Angie and JD are awesome at what they do.

  3. Reserved a spot for a few days. The room wasn’t ready. They had to add furniture. Had problems with the air conditioner. The new flooring was great! Get a plus + for that!

  4. The place was very nice and clean. It was decorated for chooses and they were getting ready to decorate for the new year. One of the residents was playing the piano and was very entertaining and even had the lunch crowd singing and clapping along. It was fun. My grandma really likes it here

  5. An unimaginable experience for our family. My Dad only lived at “the Ranches” for 12 days before passing away. He was found by a staff member. The soonest we could get to his apartment was the next day and we found his door unlocked with his money clip and Veteran’s Card missing.

    The door to his patio had been opened and there were flies everywhere. Needless to say both instances were heartbreaking.

    I was told the incident has been reported to the Corporate Office, however, we never were contacted. Promises were not kept for reimbursement of his taxi expenses nor a refund for partial rent.

    Never would I recommend this facility for a loved one.

    The best thing about this place is the people. My mother lives here and just lives all the people who live there. She gets along with the management well. The only complaint is the fact that they raise the rent by 3percent every year and this is very difficult for a population on a fixed income.

    A really nice and friendly community! My great grandma lives here and she loves it. All the residents are all really kind aswell! A great community!

    Just moved in 2 weeks ago. The Heating Units here do not support forced heat at all. Its not forced air like a Furnace its an electric heat pump that hardly heats. Many complaints here about these units. It would be to expensive to change out these units and management should provide alternate source of heat. Been sick for a few days along with my pet. Very cold at night. Had to purchase small heating unit from walmart. Need to address this problem with management since there are enough complaints to go around. Don;t forget this is a Senior Citizen complex. Garages to expensive at 100 dollars a unit. similar units at other complexes go for 75. Until above is rectified I would not move in here.

    I’ve lived in Avidor for 9 months and could not be happier. This active adult community has made my life so much better. With all the daily activities, great happy hours and other fun stuff I am so fulfilled. Residents make everyone feel at home and so it is easy to assimilate. My apartment is new, great looking and meets all my needs. The staff go out of their way to meet resident needs. I have visited many other communities like Avidor and they all fall short in one way or another. I am very happy with Avidor.

    In July of last year I moved into Avidor. My son found Avidor for me. Moving here has been the most amazing experience. The staff is always, always helpful and friendly. No matter how much they have on their plate they make you feel important. The residents here are friendly and with this being a pet friendly place it’s a win,win. Check us out. You will love it as much as I do.

    I had recently gone to a networking event at Avidor. I was super impressed!!! The event was hosted by a gal Christina Reed, who was so welcoming and fun. She took me on a tour and I got to see the apartments. They were much more spacious than I would had imagined based on the dimensions listed in the brochure. The residents were so fun to talk to and the place is absolutely stunning. It was winter so I did not get to go outside but that pool that I saw outside the window looks absolutely amazing. I had not heard of it prior but was amazed by this place! As a nurse, I love that mature adults get encouraged to have activity and socialization, which are keys for staying healthy and preventing decline that can happen with advancing age. They have so many activities there. It is a tremendous value to live there when considering all of the entertainment, health benefits, and beauty that this place provides. I wish they would lower the age limit so I can move in!!! This place is like a super cozy tropical resort.
