  1. What a pleasant surprise stepping into Sandia Vista Senior Living entry to see my name on a white board and meeting a resident waiting my arrival. She was well matched with similar yet quite different life experiences, hobbies and interests, even her pets! People in the main area were chatting away, preparing for some activity, yet took the time to look up and acknowledge my presence. In the hallways, others stopped and introduced themselves. I could tell they were genuinely pleased with their decision to move into Sandia Vista. I did arrive in the midst of renovations that included new flooring, painting walls, etc. that is updating the common areas. The apartments seem to be larger than other living places I visited. The size of kitchen, balconies, and closets provide a sense of spaciousness larger than ordinary. This is a lovely campus with delightful residents, attentive staff, and well, almost like home.

  2. My mother-in-law was cared for at Sandia Vista for 8 years before she passed. Treatment was excellent. A personal relationship between staff, my mother-in-law, and our family developed as we shared the days together. Food was excellent, as was the service provided.

    More recently, we have helped a family member become a resident at Sandia Vista who has early stages of Alzheimer’s. We were encouraged to discover that much of the original staff we knew from my mother-in-laws stay were still working at Sandia Vista. Once again, care has been excellent, food is better than ever, and the personal attention given to care for our family member is more than we could have expected. The staff, and the care teams that assist the staff are top notch. We recommend Sandia Vista highly.

  3. My Mom is absolutely in heaven at Sandia Vista. The quality of staff, the food services and all of the programs are bringing her much joy and satisfaction. I highly recommend it!

  4. My name is mikhael and I am a caregiver thru corus health. I’ve been working at sandia vista and helping resident for about a month now. This place is extremely excellent better then other places I’ve heard about. They provid activities that allow the residents to get out in to public to go do and see things. Provide great customer service to all the resident an family members of the residents. There really involved with the residents here always having activities planned in the lounge. Have mass church on Wednesday. Just a overall great community surrounded by great people.

    Beautiful peaceful community!! Everyone keeps their place well-kept part of the beauty!! Perfect view of the Sandia mountains, fantastic view of the west Mesa. Of course my favorite part of living in the vineyard is balloon fiesta!! Every year is something different and special in the sky. Front row seats. And your neighbors are very friendly. I met some great people in the vineyard over the past 20 years. It is a must see. I was once told they call it Albuquerque‘s Little secret. Safe secure grounds.

    This community is so friendly and the grounds are beautiful. I love to drive around looking at all the plantings. My Brother and Sister in law are very blessed to live here. A great place.

    It’s a senior living community. All manufactured homes (tailors) double wide. Very nice people, and clean. I have done lots of business there for moving furniture, and picking up old appliances that the tenants no longer want. I have never heard anything bad about this place. You just have to be 55 or older to live there.

    This is the best place to call home at this point in my life. I feel safe and surrounded by plenty of helpful and kind people. The homes are kept up nicely and the ammenities are great. Opportunities for being as social as I want while providing me with as much privacy as I need. .

    The new manager has no idea what she is doing. My grandma said that everyone in the office is new and clueless. They just recently let go of Felicia the maintenance technician. She was a fantastic employee and that is now the reason why we will be putting in her 30 day notice. The new company Atria, raised everyone’s rent. They don’t have a shuttle! The food is horrible. Send you’re loved one somewhere else! The office is always closed. The GM lady, office manager and leasing agent always take off for lunch for a couple of hours. They never have any waiting staff to serve the residents. The old GM Patrick would always help serve but the new GM lady won’t get her hands dirty.

    I was going with a new resident to pick up his keys and check out his place. He got one of the cottages and it is so cute. It even has covered parking he really like too. I am sure I will have the opportunity to eat in the dining room with my friend which he says is pretty good as they treated him to a lunch when he was looking around. He said the food was pretty good.
