a month agoThe amount of carts in this parking lot is shameful. There were carts everywhere, some were even filled with bags of trash. Not only is this a danger to both customers and their vehicles, the handicapped spots were almost inaccessible due to the pile up of carts. At the very least, please make it safe for those using the handicapped parking to shop at your store.3 months agoNever really have a bad experience for grocery shopping here, I also only buy my sushi from this location since it’s always so fresh. Fish Salad made to look like ‘Crab Salad’ using Polloxk fish…when labeled for purchase says ‘Krab Salad’. Maybe dangerous to some customers…? !!!!!!! Fraud…Deceptive…Decietful…….? !!!! Especially today- Big shoutout to Nick, who was working the bottle return room. The place was spotless, SPOTLESS, despite the summer foot traffic. I have never seen the room look like that ever. He’s doing a great job out there!

6 months agoThe Kroger at The Heights upholds the brands reputation. The team members are kind, friendly, keep what stock is available on the shelves. Produce is fresh and they offer a reasonable variety of products including broadly speaking Middle eastern and Mexican ingredients. Additionally they have a sushi build out, delicatessen, butcher and bakery. It’s orderly and clean and would recommend others to check it out. It is a bustling location so keep an eye out in the parking lot as it’s very busy.3 years agoI love Kroger although the lady in the Deli and the older man in the Seafood dept. seem to be having a bad day. Everyone else was friendly and helpful. Kroger always has a good sale going on.in the last weekThere are many more grocery stores in the area to choose from, I encourage you to go to them and NOT to this Kroger! Rude management and a deli that is never open. I tried to get sliced deli meat yesterday (on a Sunday afternoon) and was told the deli was closed. This is about the 5th time this has happened, regardless of the time/day I try and use the deli services.3 months agoThis Kroger is way better than the one that’s on Warren Road in Mirrorman very clean inside. At least they have two registers open anytime I go there not just our self check out. I would give them five stars. I don’t think I can necessarily blame it on Kroger, but parking lot going to hell and a little bit of trash around the area. Other than that the people inside are very nice and helpful.2 weeks agoWe have visited this store multiple times at different hours of the day. The deli says they open at 8am and close at 9pm. We went in at 940am to be told the deli doesn’t open until 10, however the sign says 9am. This store is run poorly! The meat counter, deli and bakery only open whenever they want with no rhyme or reason. Get it together Kroger!

I have gone to this location with a group of seniors, 1-2x a week for 6 years. We go here in the morning, from about 10am to 11:30, and the occasional afternoon now; do I can’t speak about other times of day. I have grown to like this store and many people I know prefer it because it is not as large and spread out like Westborn, which tires some seniors out. I read some of the comments here and there have been improvements. Carts are readily available including the smaller ones. The produce section is good, and they have added new refrigerators to this section. I always find what I am looking for here. I do know some people who specifically prefer this store for dairy items such as eggs and milk as they feel it is fresher than other stores. I always use self checkout, the lines have decreased and it’s fast every time once you understand how to use it (those who use checkout have complained about the wait, I have never felt that the few times I used these lanes). They have returned the benches to sit on by the exit that were removed during the pandemic, which is good for older people; many stores haven’t replaced them and there are people who won’t go to those stores because they can’t stand a long time waiting for their ride. The store varies in how busy it is but I feel I can get my shopping done pretty fast if I need to.
Trashy. Not at all like other Krogers in nicer neighborhoods.
I didn’t know a store could just leave tobacco chew unattended and unmonitored on the manager’s special rack for kids to get into.
DON’T EVEN BOTHER CALLING IN TO TALK TO ANYONE REGARDING ANYTHING..THEY WILL NOT ANSWER. THEY AUTOMATICALLY PUT YOU ON HOLD WITHOUT SAYING HELLO FIRST.. THEN LEAVE YOU THERE UNTIL THEY’RE PROMPTED TO ANSWER. THEN AGAIN PUT YOU ON HOLD WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING. THIS WENT ON REPEATEDLY FOR OVER 13 MINUTES…AT 8:45 PM ON A SUNDAY NIGHT!! WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS STORE & CUSTOMER SERVICE?? Y’ALL NEED TO TIGHTEN UP!!
I was looking for an item which should have been an easy find. When I couldn’t find it, I asked 3 different employees and none if them offered any assistance. Another shopper heard me ask and knew where the item was. The best answer I got from an employee was “I dunno”. I think corporations need to use “secret shoppers”, and weed out the poor employees.
This is the most disgusting Kroger I’ve ever been in. I’m a Kroger employee (delivery) and we depend on these stores to be able to use the bathroom while on the road. There was feces smeared all over the toilet, The next stall was broken. The bathroom has toilet paper and sticky stuff all over the floor. Disgusted.
