What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. I am getting older and have lack of knowledge on using the Kroger App. I have signed up. I have been trying to get a Kroger employee with no success ( for over 6 months) to help me to be able to take advantage of the digital coupons. This past Sunday I stopped by a young girl restocking supplies to see if she would help me. With a big smile said, Yes, let me see what you’re trying to do. I showed her, and she walked me through the whole process. She helped me clip coupons and save them. I used the digital coupons at the cash register and saved money. I want to say a Big Thank You to ANAHI. I hope your manager sees this. You were very polite and courteous. Kroger needs more people like ANAHI to be helpful to customers. Thank You ANAHI, you are why I will be back as a happy customer.

  2. So tremendously disappointed in Krogers. Sad it feels the need to follow the trend of self checkouts. It is horrible. Annoying and time
Consuming Nothing more frustrating then being on a schedule for dinner and every item you scan makes the machine freeze up and call for assistance. Kroger needs to fix this or get rid of them. And when will I be getting my paycheck for checking myself out??? I don’t work there. I shouldn’t have to check out my own groceries. Kroger has definitely fallen to the bottom of my favorite grocery stores.
And also, why are their shelves always empty? It’s maddening to go shopping for groceries enough but to get there and there are
No items on half their shelves. Ridiculous.

  3. I was almost going to have a frantic attack because the money center at Kroger off Garland Ave closed early for God knows what reason and told me there was nothing to do about it. So! I called this location and let me tell you Brenda saved the ENTIRE day!!! I appreciate her so much for working with me and helping me out.

  4. I’ve never been more angry with my experience at a grocery store. I despise self checkout, so that’s all they had. The self checkout accused me of stealing so many times the attendant came over, who ALSO treated me like a thief and say there for a minute looking through the items I’d, surprise!, already scanned! Then after that the security gate went off as I was leaving. I loathe this specific store and self checkout in particular. There would have been ZERO problems if there had just been a cashier.

  5. Some expensive things (tweezers were almost $9.00), but great deals(with card), store is clean, and friendly staff!! Make sure to get a Kroger card if going to shop here consistently!!!

This Kroger location is the worst I have ever shopped at. They only ever have one line open besides the self checkout. Writing this while standing in line. The lines on the one checkout has 6 people in front of me. The shelf checkout line was half way down the frozen food aisle. They have a deli refrigerated case that has been leaking water for over a month. They just keep throwing the water absorbent pads on it. The store is filthy and need of a major cleanup. The store could also benefit from a remodeling, since it has been 20 years since they did a major remodel here. Oh the Rockwall location has been remodeled many times in that 20 years. I do not blame the associates who work here. They are always super nice and try to help you where they can. The upper management and corporate are to blame for the really low salary percent spent in this store. Photo taken at the end of writing this review.

Kroger has some good discounts, but this place is a mess. There was red stuff sprayed on the milk jugs (kruger’s?), a decent sized puddle in the bread section, pricing missing in the vegetable section.

I’m giving a 5 only because of Paul. Paul was yelled at by customers, and he still remained positive and helpful to everyone. From 8:30-9:05 he was working the entire store by himself. None of the other employees on the shift were anywhere to be found. Then all of them came out of somewhere at the same time. Paul seriously deserves a promotion. He did great at managing his composure, customer service, and was so kind throughout it all. I needed a pregnancy test, and I asked a person in a red vest ( when they finally came out) he said he was on lunch break. Understandable but not every employee on the shift should be on break at the same time. Paul helped me, but I really am just so proud of his composure! Good job Paul ! 👏🏼 not so much to all of the other employees on the shift. It’s all about team work!

I am very pleased with shopping in this store, with one glaring exception. The self check out system is very difficult to work with. The attendant is constantly running from one customer to another to reset the different check out stations. I realize that this will happen from time to time at any store. However this occurs at a ridiculous rate here. It should not take thirty minutes to check out.

I got the message today, if you’re partially handicapped so you can’t walk the whole store they don’t want your business. There were no handicap assistance electric carts so we waited a little while assuming one would come through the line when someone leaving. After we stood there for a little while and I couldn’t take it anymore so I sat down on some cases of water eventually an associate came up and told us that their last electric cart had recently been stolen but they had been on their last one for a little while. It’s a store manager can order electric carts to help people that struggle to walk what does that say about this store’s attitude towards customers in general and specifically about those that are handicapped. it’s pretty freaking sad. I know from experience that at one time they had more than four carts. It seems obvious to me that if one is stolen and you can’t get it back you buy a new one and you find new ways to keep track of them not let your numbers dwindle until you have none. I made it through the store to get what I had to get and luckily I didn’t fall but I’m in significantly more pain now then I was when I started my shopping trip. No one should find that acceptable

Store has gone down dramatically in the last 6 months – without a doubt store needs a good cleaning, shelves not stocked, not enough cashiers, etc. Never see any management. Will not go back.

I usually don’t have issues here, but I left an Amazon gift card in a bag while scanning other items. When I asked a worker for help, he shrugged and walked away, claiming ignorance. When I asked for a manager, he pointed to someone in the back restocking supplies. I dont have any problem purchasing another gift card but this un willingness to assist someone and shrugging shoulders and walking away is not ok.

Crazy i usually have no issues here! We sent out 6 year old to go get a small cart(small pushing one) and the worker told him no get a big one! Of course I’m like no get the small one she literally pushes it at him than takes the big one slams it into another big one and than takes trash and slams it n the trash can i had to grab my son to make sure she didn’t attack him honestly it was a bit scary!

I been to this Krogers 3 or 4 times. The staff has been very nice all the times. Shelves are full. All in all I had a great shopping experience

Fairly busy except during the bookend hours. A little cramped owing to range of items because of the available floor space.

Enough staff at hand to assist with questions quickly. (Last thing I would want to do is question the floor plan) Despite the overhead signs, these (floor plan layout & size) have one plan for the aisles while the Signature stores have another. So never hesitate to ask quickly and your shopping experience will be better.
