What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Not a usual *reviewer* but I just wanted to post a review on my recent cashier David. He is an older gentleman, but young at heart! He went so above and beyond for both me and my groceries. He wrapped my egg carton with bands and was so friendly and attentive with both my purchases and myself. When I got home my family helped me unload the groceries and my grandma asked if David was my cashier, she knew immediately when she saw what good condition everything had been packaged in that it had to be him, and I was so happy to say YES. David thank you for such an amazing shopping experience, I’ve always had amazing experiences at this location, but this one deserved a little more limelight. I hope I have the pleasure of having him again!

  2. Visited 3/28/23 (pics below) Check your dates! They consistently have dairy on the shelves that is out of date! I wish they would discount these items a few days before they expire. I have often times taken items up to customer service to let them know, however they won’t sell them at a discount because they’re expired. Siggis is great yogurt and I will buy it on sale or at a discount when close to expired, seems Kroger is more interested in grifting it’s customers.

We recently bought a whole creamer unknowingly that was expired as well! Disappointing! $$$ down the drain.

  3. Due to staffing issues they have lost their amazing Bakery cake artists and been reduced to sub par people in white aprons. I ordered a cake. The whole ordeal was a nightmare. After being told multiple things about my edible image and finally ordering an edible image from online, they then refused to even do much with the cake insisting the image would be too big. Day of order came, called 3 hours before pickup. They forgot my order. Had to settle for another cake flavor because it was too late to make half and half. I come to pick up the cake and it isn’t even a rectangle. It was a white blank cake. I asked for a ribbon of icing at the top edge, insisting the image will still fit…. girl looks at me confused. Starts walking towards floral. Explained icing ribbon again. She says they can’t because it is already done, she would have to ask. They gave me a bag of icing to do it myself. I’m paying $25.99 for what??? The cake is bleeding through thin spots in the white icing isn’t even coated properly. Just avoid them.

  4. We went to pick up my boyfriend’s granddaughters cupcakes for her birthday and they just didn’t make them. His daughter even called earlier to confirm the price and they flat out didn’t make them. So now we have no unicorn cupcakes for her birthday party that is 1 hour away. Thanks a million for ruining that part of her party.

  5. The quality of produce and fresh products is abysmal. The meat is starting to follow suit. This used to be one of the best places to get meat and produce, but since their “Kroger Fresh” campaign started, the quality is a joke. It would be funny if I didn’t waste so much money on it. I’m going to return it from now on if it rots within 3 days

Apparently around noon on Monday is a good time to go if you don’t want a big crowd.. should of went earlier for the meat markdowns but they still have pretty good deals.

The pickup team is great! There have been a couple of mistakes, which are normal, and to be expected, but they’ve made it right. They are normally busy, running from car to car, yet they’re still kind, and patient, even when customers aren’t. Be kind to these hardworking people, they’re human, as we all are, and doing their best. 🙂

I had the worst experience these past few days. I placed a click list order around 5 pm Tuesday 2/2, there wasn’t an available pickup until the next day.. kinda sucked but whatever. I schedule the pickup for 5pm. I get a call around 4pm on 2/3 from a woman saying that my order would not be ready until the following day around 10am. Obviously I’m upset. I then get an update that my order is ready and to let them know when I’m heading to the store, I call customer service to make sure that’s accurate bc it wasn’t supposed to be ready until the next day- who contacted the store and they promised my order would be ready by 7. I arrive around 6:40, finally around 7:50 an employee comes out and tells me they haven’t evan began picking my order and I could possibly pick it up the following day around the same time ????¿ at this point I’m furious. I’ve been waiting days to get an order, I had $60 in coupons attached to my pickup order and ended up having to go in and get the items myself and paid a hefty price difference. I usually do instacart or store pickup from Aldi, and giving Kroger a chance was the worst possible mistake I could have made.
