7 months agoThis is a decent, automated car wash. Watch out for the touch screens as they are really sensitive. The wash system itself is good. But on my last trip the system stopped after the initial water blast and soap application. It then kicked me out. The touch free wash does an adequate job cleaning the car, but my real issue is that the touch free wash bays are filthy. The floor, walls, ceiling, and equipment are covered in grime and mold, I realize this probably has no effect on how it cleans a car, but come on, take some pride in your job.
I’ve had repeat problems at this car wash and the management doesn’t seem to care. The Housatonic location “touch-free” doesn’t get my car clean and the soft touch drier leaves more water on my car than was there at the beginning of the drying cycle. The only solution the management has offered is for me to sign up, pay for and drive all the way over (entirely out of my way) to the Elm Street location for the highest level of service…..rather than just fix their machine. This is absurd.

Since I have a pickup (or dirty cars)…I clean the wheels from towing etc . You have to be real about actually prepping your vehicle. The car wash is really efficient. I feel this car wash is the best in this area! (Also, will it take off a road trip. Use your elbow moves)
